The mandate of the Centre is to stimulate productivity consciousness, determine productivity levels, monitor productivity trends, promote and lead the productivity movement in the country towards the attainment of higher levels of productivity in all sectors of the Nigerian economy with the aim of enhancing the living standards of the people.
